Stoke City F.C.

The Potters will be hoping for a similar season after finishing 9th last term. The addition of a few key members will only add to their season. Highly touted attacking midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri has moved from Inter Milan in a surprise move, and relatively inexpensive as well. Fans must be putting a lot of faith in their new star man. However first team regular Steven N’Zonzi has departed and this truly leaves a large gap that needs to be filled. Also entering the frame is Ibrahim Afelley a truly serious prospect coming from Barcelona’s development camp, and at free of charge it’ll be interesting to see how much this young man can grow.

The season it’s self hasn’t started quite so well. An opening day loss to West Brom and two dull draws at Norwich and Tottenham have left them in poor shape in the standings. However the team may start to gel and maybe perhaps we’ll see their true colours. Jack Butland is a bright spot, i’m excited to see him gain even more experience, it’ll only lead to good things at the Britannia.

Projection : Safe – 14th
